Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the Women of the Bible quilt pattern?
A: It’s a 12-month block of the month quilt that features scripture-inspired quilt blocks, each focused on a woman from the Bible, with devotional reflections and three sizes of foundation paper piecing templates.
Q: How do I join the block of the month quilt along?
A: You can purchase the full Women of the Bible quilt pattern and get all 12 blocks in the quilt emailed to you, or buy individual blocks if you just want to make a few of the blocks.
Q: What skill level is this quilt pattern for?
A: This pattern uses foundation paper piecing, which is suitable for confident beginners and experienced quilters wanting to expand skills.
Q: How do I know what fabric I’ll need?
A: For this Women of the Bible quilt, I’ll be using primarily solids from Robert Kaufman. I have a bunch of fabric left over from making both the Jesse Tree quilt and the Holy Week quilt, so it’s a great fit to continue working with the solids. A fabric variety pack will be a great place to get you started, though you’ll also want to add in a few shades of browns for skin and hair tones.

This is the perfect accompanying item for the Women of the Bible quilt. (View all our devotionals here.)

I would prefer to download the Women Of The Bible Mystery Quilt Block patterns, rather than have them shipped. Is this possible? While I am more than happy to pay for each monthly pattern, I do not wish to pay the added fee for 12 months of S&H.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Donita
Hi Donita! Great question – yes, these quilt patterns are ONLY available in a digital format, so you are able to instantly download them at purchase. So glad this is the format you prefer! Happy sewing to you, and glad you’ll be joining in the quilt along.
I came across this mystery sew along and I love the Theam. I just finished making it in the 12″ x 12″ size. Can’t wait to see who is next.
Karla, YEAH!!! I’m so excited for this, too! I hope you love all the blocks as much as Eve! Thanks for joining in.
I am excited about the block of the month Women of the Bible Series. I ordered the Eve block and it came quickly. However the instruction link is not working (it sends me back to the Shop page). One of the main reasons I wanted the block was for the scriptures and devotions that are included along with the instructions. Can you resend the link as I want to start working on my block. Thanks in advance for your help. Angie
Hi Angie! Absolutely. I just emailed you another copy of the block. Thanks for joining in!
I will be teaching paper piecing at a spiritual retreat in spring 2026. I would like to use the Eve block with my students.
I am currently participating in the Women of the bible blocks of the month. The program is WONDERFUL!
Would it be possible to get 8 copies of your Eve pattern to be used with the retreat participants?
We can collect fees, or explain that each person visit your website, or whatever you feel would work.
Thank you in advance for information
Pam, this is a lovely idea. Would you email me directly at: faithandfabric @ yahoo.com so we can sort through the details?
Good Evening,
I want to download the November block of the month for Women of the Bible and I do not see the link. Please advise. I have downloaded all the previous months without any problems. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi Angie – no problem at all! I’ll go ahead and email you that block right now. Happy sewing to you!
