Welcome to the second week of our Pantone 2021 Challenge, and our first official linkup! I hope you’ve had a chance to spend last week thinking of a project and collecting some lovely materials for your project in these beautiful tones.
As for me, I’ve selected these lovely fabrics…I’ve had them in my fabric stash *for years*, so it’s a total joy to finally pull them out and use them! …and how perfect that they’re such a great balance of the two tones. Amen to small wins, right?
The fabrics are the softest cotton, so I’m looking forward to working with them this month. Truth be told, I’ve already cut into them and they’re a joy to work with. Definitely feeling the gray and yellow vibes!
For thread, I’ve of course selected complimentary tones from Sulky. I love (love) sewing with their 50wt cotton threads in their Cotton + Steel line. I’m still waiting on the thread to arrive, but these are the two colors I picked up: Sun Yellow and Charcoal Gray
