Today is Trinity Sunday, the day we celebrate and honor the Holy Trinity. It’s the day we ponder the mystery of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: three divine persons in one God.
This year, Trinity Sunday falls on Father’s Day. It seems such a fitting day to celebrate both our earthly father *and* our heavenly Father! The mystery of the Godhead is exactly that: a mystery. It’s not something that you can easily wrap your head around. I think, though, in over simplified terms, of my man. Today, we celebrate not just his role as a father, but his role as a husband, a mentor, a leader, a breadwinner, a builder, a shoulder to cry on, a mountain biker, a boo-boo fixer, and so much more. He’s exactly what we need when we need him to be…in a way, like the trinity. Sometimes, we need our heavenly Father to turn to. Other times, we seek the guidance of the Spirit. Others still, it’s Jesus who walks by our side.
It’s the trinity that inspired our newest fabric. Clean lines and simple repeats create a gentle pattern of the trinity. Rich purples, speaking to the royalty of faith, encircle the trinity. Together, it is one – yet distinct as three.
Our fabrics are available year-round in our shop and can be delivered to you in any quantity (from fat quarter to several yards). Can’t wait to see what you make!
