The 2015 San Diego Quilt Show’s was a collection of color, applique, and beautiful artistry! This year’s theme was “A Walk in the Park,” chosen to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the 1915 Panama-California Exposition held in Balboa Park. It was a week of classes, beautiful quilts, and shopping at the vendor mall.
Instead of a long post, I thought I’d let the photos speak for themselves. Overall, I was truly impressed by the creativity of so many talented quilters! I was also pleasantly surprised by how many quilts had applique – as a huge fan of applique, it was great to see this technique used in so many unique ways.
Without further adieu – here are some of my favorites from the 2015 San Diego Quilt Show! (Apologies for losing the copious notes I took on the designer, quilter, and pattern of each quilt. I have *no* idea where my notes ended up.)
