One of the most common questions I receive is “what is a good beginner sewing project for someone new to sewing”? While there are many great ideas available for novice sewists, I wanted to create something that would both create an opportunity to quickly have a lovable project in hand as well as teach faith along the way.
…enter our Sew-a-Saint line! These plush dolls are absolutely beginner friendly, and can be sewn by hand or with a machine. Hand drawn, each comes printed on a fat-quarter of fabric and is ready to sew. Instructions are printed on the fabric, ensuring you’ll know how to make him as soon as he arrives in your mailbox.
Saint Michael was the first for us, naturally, as he is the absolute favorite saint of my little son. He loves him so much! In this print, Saint Michael comes complete with battle armor and holds a sword and shield, and the delicate white stars of heaven surround him as he wages his battle against evil.
All fabrics are available year-round in shop – can’t wait to see what you make!
